To mark World Earth Day, the Minerallium will open its doors to the public on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
Earth Day is a global observance celebrated annually on April 22 since 1970. It was established to raise awareness about environmental protection and biodiversity and to encourage individuals and governments to take action in support of environmental sustainability.
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of minerals and discover their essential role, from the emergence of life on Earth to their contribution to more sustainable agriculture.
Le Minerallium, an exhibition created in collaboration with the National Museum of Natural History, explores the little-known yet essential role of minerals—from the emergence of life on Earth to their vital role in living organisms and agriculture, from the “Big Bang to the plate.”
Come discover the role of minerals from the origins of life on Earth to their use in agriculture during guided tours held throughout the day. You can also explore Alain Bujak’s work, “Toucher Terre,” which captures, through photographs and interviews, the daily lives of four farmers in the Eure-et-Loir department.

- Tours depart at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.,
- 4:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m.
- Maximum of 13 participants per tour
- Accessible to people with limited mobility
- Tours begin on the hour. Anyone arriving late will not be admitted.
Please park in the parking lot located at 29 Franklin Roosevelt Avenue (see map opposite). The gate will be open for cars. You can then walk to the Roullier Endowment Fund.
