2026–2027: The first Pedagogy Call for Proposals
It will enable public‑interest project leaders to receive funding of up to €100,000 per project, for one year ! A significant amount to support ambitious initiatives.
It aims to encourage the implementation of mechanisms that strengthen the understanding and adoption of these practices by actively engaging learners and educational teams in France, supported by one year of financial assistance.
Supported themes
The funded projects must:
- Implement concrete pedagogical approaches (modules, workshops, learning pathways, digital or physical tools) designed to train, raise awareness, and engage learners around the challenges of agricultural sustainability.
- Promote cooperation between teaching teams and stakeholders from the agricultural sector to create collective and replicable approaches.
- Integrate innovative methods for training and disseminating practices that respect natural resources, soil, water, and biodiversity, whether or not they rely on digital technologies.
- Encourage the capitalization and dissemination of best practices to amplify impact far beyond the project itself.
Project valorization
Proposals integrating innovative approaches in the fields of training and the dissemination of practices that respect natural resources, soil, water, and biodiversity will receive particular recognition.
Indicative themes
As an indication, projects may focus on:
- soil fertility and health
- rational water management
- biodiversity and its ecosystem services
- or any other lever contributing to the sustainability of agricultural systems.
Terms and conditions for participation in the 2026-2027 Pedagogy CFP
The maximum funding granted for each project will be €100,000. In addition to financing, the Fonds de Dotation Roullier may offer technical support within the realm of its expertise. The funding accorded by this call for proposals will support the engineering aspect of the projects. The application period is open from February 6, 2026, to April 6, 2026.Details of the CFP, the application form, and the participation guidelines are available on this page. The application process will occur in two stages, to simplify the procedure for project leaders.
Applying for the call for proposals
Only projects demonstrating an effective contribution to Pedagogy Call for Proposals and comply with the specifications (downloadable below) will be selected in 2026.
The selection process will take place in two phases:
Phase 1: Project leaders will be able to apply for this call for proposals between 6 February 2026 and midnight on 6 April 2026. The concept note must be sent by email to appelaprojets@fdroullier.org . The date and time of receipt will serve as proof of submission (see the “Apply” section below).
Some projects will be selected to proceed to phase 2.
Phase 2: the project leader must complete an application form that will be sent to them (more comprehensive than the concept note) and will be interviewed by the jury for around 30 minutes. The interview may be conducted in person or by videoconference, at the discretion of the project leader.
Targeted project leaders
This call for proposals is aimed at French project leaders. The project may be carried out in France.
Commercial entities and individuals are not eligible for this call for proposals.
How to respond to the call for proposals
To apply to the research call for proposals on the theme of Pedagogy for 2026–2027, please send the Concept Note by email to appelaprojets@fdroullier.org.
The project leader must indicate the following in the subject line of the email: [AAP‑Pedagogy] – [Project name].
The completed concept note must be attached as a PDF file and submitted before April 6, 2026 at midnight.

FAQ – Call for Proposals
What are the key dates of the Call for Proposals?
Submission of applications: until April 6, 2026
Announcement of projects selected for Phase 1: week of May 25, 2026
For projects selected for Phase 2: submission of the full application until August 17, 2026, followed by a 30‑minute interview (in person or via videoconference) in early September.
What is the amount of funding offered, and what does it cover?
The funding granted may go up to €100,000 per project, allocated over a one‑year period. No fixed co‑funding rate is required.
Eligible costs:
- Small equipment and pedagogical consumables, for example: educational materials and light agricultural equipment required for practical workshop demonstrations.
- Overheads related to the implementation of the project (indicatively capped between 10% and 15%).
- Personnel costs directly involved in the project: salaries of facilitators, external speakers, contractors, technical staff, students, or PhD candidates involved in designing or delivering pedagogical activities.
Non‑eligible costs:
Heavy capital investments depreciated over several years.

Projects must take place in France.

Additional documentation will be requested in Phase 2 for shortlisted applicants.
Is the funding disbursed in one or several installments?
Funding is disbursed in tranches, according to the project’s milestones and deadlines. The payment schedule will be specified in the agreement signed with the awarded projects.
